JHL Järrestads Hereads Agricultural Association has been an integral part of Österlen since 1903. Originally for farmers. Today for everyone who builds, cultivates, runs farms, renovates, plants, creates, and develops. With a strong local heart, high service level, and knowledge embedded in the walls.
The business has a turnover of approximately 320 MSEK. We have around 40 employees and about 270 members in the association. The product range spans agriculture, building materials, and gardening, but what truly sets JHL apart are the people, the relationships, and the willingness to help customers succeed.

Lead and develop the organizationYou will build a clear, safe, and engaging leadership where people grow, take responsibility, and want to continue contributing. You will create structure, priorities, and working methods that make everyday life easier and more enjoyable, freeing up energy within the organization. There is much competence and loyalty here, but also room to develop the people. A good workplace should become even better.
Drive growth and business developmentYou are responsible for developing the business in a sustainable long-term manner. For us, it’s about identifying improvements, potential, and development, and through good leadership, driving JHL Tommarp forward. You are close to the business, understand what drives profitability, and are good at prioritizing.
Manage and strengthen the cultureService, engagement, and local pride are part of JHL's DNA. Your role will be to nurture this while leading and adapting the business for the future. It’s not about tearing down but polishing the success factors and making what is already good even better.
Be the link between the association, board, and operationsThe role operates in a member-owned structure where relationships, trust, and clarity are crucial. The mission is to create security in governance, finance, and communication, ensuring that everyone pulls in the same direction.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for a confident, business-driven leader who thrives where people, operations, and results meet. Experience in leading organizations in environments with both operational presence and strategic responsibility is important. Industry knowledge in agriculture or building materials is a plus but not a requirement. What matters is curiosity, humility, and the desire to truly understand the business in depth.
Leadership is characterized by trust, clear direction, and the ability to get people on board. Communication is direct and respectful, presence is natural without becoming micromanaging, and decision-making is secure even when the pace is high.
Business acumen is evident. The ability to see opportunities, prioritize correctly, and translate ideas into actual effects in everyday life is central. Economics, follow-up, and governance feel natural, while the customer perspective is always included in decisions.
Relationships are built long-term and with trust. Collaborations are created both internally and externally with the board, members, suppliers, and customers. The role becomes a natural representative for JHL both locally and in external contexts.
